The new Aventador described by Lamborghini CEO, Stephan Winklemann, ‘as a jump of two generations in development’ was officially revealed to the public earlier this year at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Replacing the Murcielago, the Aventador is the fastest Lamborghini to date reaching 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. Shortly after the Aventador made its debut, Lamborghini announced that the super car had been sold out for the 2011 model year.
