The 2017 Porsche 911 GTS

The updated Porsche GTS range consists of a 5 model line-up, they are faster and more powerful. The new 911 GTS’s made their official debut at the Detroit Motor Show.

The 911.2 GTS models now run on a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat six engine, tweaked to boost the power output. The range consists of the Carrera GTS, Carrera Cabriolet GTS, Carrera 4 GTS, Carrera 4 Cabriolet GTS and Targa 4 GTS. There is a choice of two or all-wheel drive, the Targa is only available in AWD.

The power across all models has increased to 444bhp and 406lb ft and there is a choice of either a seven-speed manual or PDK dual clutch automatic transmissions. The all-wheel drive 911 Carrera 4 GTS has the fastest accelerating time of 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds. The fastest top speed for the 911 Carrera GTS is 194mph.

The new GTS models now come standard with the Porsche Active Suspension Management system and electronic shock absorbers. The new range also includes the Sport Chrono Pack as standard which gives the car active dampers and dynamic systems as well ‘Sport Response Mode’. The ride height has been lowered by 10mm.

The styling has been refreshed and features black accents. The black detailing can be found on the 20-inch centre-locking alloys, tailpipes and even tinted tail-lights. There is a new bumper design and rear spoiler. The interior is finished in Alcantara and leather, with black tinted aluminium trim around the instrument elements.

Deliveries for the new 911 GTS will begin in March. Pricing for the entry level model begins at £94,316 and £108,444 for the range-toppers.
