A ‘Wacky’ Range Rover Pick-Up is heading to Shanghai Motor Show.

A ‘Wacky’ Range Rover Pick-Up is heading to Shanghai Motor Show.

The Range Rover pickup by Startech is considered to be one of the weirdest tuner projects.

Startech, which is part of the Brabus group of German tuning firms, has performed state-of-the-art technology to convert the model from a five-door car to a classy pickup.

As Startech states, the Range Rover pickup is converted into ‘… one of the world’s most exclusive pickups.’

The SUV gets muscular styling additions, such as enormous 23-inch forged alloys, a carbon-fibre bodykit and a butch bumper design. The all-wheeled drive car is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine rated at 387 kW / 526 hp enabling thus the car to sprint 0-62 m/h in just 5.3 seconds at a top speed of 155 m/h.

Inside the cabin, the car offers five seats and is as spacious as the original model. Black leather with red stitching that is color-coordinated with the exterior and diamond-shaped quilting of various parts, give it an especially exclusive design.

Further details for this luxury Range Rover pickup will be announced at Shanghai Motor Show next week.
