All-new Audi RS6 spotted testing for the first time

Audi’s new RS6 has been spotted testing for the first time. Whilst the test mule pictured is an Audi A6 Avant, all the tell-tale signs of an RS6 are present. Flared arches, oval exhaust tips and big wheels all feature on this test mule.

Excitingly, the new RS6 will be offered with two power outputs, a standard petrol offering, as well as an electrified option with even more power, using borrowed technology from the Panamera Turbo S E-hybrid. The standard offering will be a twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8 engine with 600bhp and the electrified variant could produce close to 700bhp. The test mule doesn’t give us any clues as to the updated design, although customers can expect an interior laden with the newest technology, and the highest quality.

Given that the new Audi A6 Avant hasn’t hit showrooms yet, it’s safe to assume the new RS6 will appear next year, following the release of the latest S6.
