Aston Martin and Red Bull join forces to create the ultimate hypercar

Aston Martin and Red Bull have released a teaser sketch, announcing their extraordinary collaboration to develop a ground-breaking new hypercar, codenamed the AM-RB 001.

The revolutionary hypercar will combine Aston Martin’s stunning styling and ethos with Red Bull’s F1 technology and aerodynamics. It will be designed with beauty and performance in mind, pitched to be the fastest, most luxurious in its class.

The new Aston will have all the signature Aston Martin sports car traits, and will be designed specifically for the road. However, Red Bull’s input will be distinctive, with ground-breaking aerodynamics to make the lap time as fast as an F1 or LMF1 car.

The hypercar is expected to be a mid-engined two-seater, based around Aston Martin’s new V12, with F1 tuning and KERS-style drive system. It will come with a race series set up, all housed in a lightweight carbon fibre body. The exact engine spec is yet to be released, however it is likely to be a petrol-electric hybrid for boosted performance, with race-style double-wishbone suspension. Production will be limited to approximately 100 units, each priced around £2-3 Million for the ‘next-generation hypercar’.

Aston Martin and Red Bull have been developing the AM-RB 001 for the last 3 months, and the magnificent car is expected to be released in 2018. Both Companies say there is much more to come from their exciting new partnership.
