Aston Martin launch stunning new DBS Superleggera

Aston Martin have unveiled their new flagship DBS Superleggera, marking the brand’s long-awaited return to the exclusive Super GT category.

Based on the DB11’s bonded aluminum architecture, the new DBS Superleggera is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, producing an incredible 715bhp and 664lb ft of torque, delivering a top speed of 211mph. The new supercar sprints from 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds, hitting 100mph in a blistering 6.4 seconds.

The exterior styling is suitably aggressive to match the car’s enhanced performance and features carbonfibre panels with an F1-style double-diffuser.  The car also boasts active valves and quad tail pipes, ensuring the new DBS sounds as powerful as it looks.  The interior is equipped with all the latest tech, including keyless entry, Bluetooth infotainment system, USB playback and a wi-fi hub.

The DBS Superleggera will go on sale later this year, with pricing starting from £225,000 for the coupe.  A Volante version has been spied testing and is expected to arrive in early 2019.
