Aston Martin have revealed it’s new drop-top DBS Superleggera Volante, which retains the same powerful V12 from the coupe and despite having a folding fabric roof, it’s 211 mph top speed.
The DBS Volante boasts a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, with a peak power of 715bhp at 6500 rpm, with a colossal 664lb ft of torque delivered between 1800 and 5000 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a limited slip differential. Despite weighing nearly two tonne, the convertible will reach 62mph in just 3.6 seconds and carny on all the way to 211mph.
Prices for the new DBS Superleggera Volante start at £247,500 before options. The first customer deliveries are expected reach customers later in the year.
