Aston Martin’s all-new 503bhp V8 Vantage
Aston Martin has launched its all-new Vantage. Powered by a 503bhp AMG-V8, the new coupe will go on sale early next year.
Although based on the same platform architecture as the DB11, over 70 percent of the coupe’s components are unique to the Vantage. The 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine is supplied by AMG, although the new exhaust and intake are designed by Aston Martin. A top speed of 195mph is quoted, with 0-62mph covered in 3.6 seconds.
The new-look Vantage has been styled by Marek Reichman, and is clearly a development of the concept DB10, first seen in the James Bond film, Spectre. The interior is more contemporary than the somewhat dated styling used in previous models and there’s greater focus on the seating position, which emphasises driving enjoyment and control.
Priced from £120,900, the all-new Vantage is available to order now.
