Audi to release new luxury Q8

Audi has updated its flagship luxury range with the all-new Q8. The Q8 will be a sportier version of the old Q7 SUV.

The platform of the Q8 is based on the Q7. It will be faster and feature the latest tech and revised styling. The wheelbase will be shorter and it will only come in a 5 seat configuration. The ride height of the new SUV will also be 70mm lower.

In terms of styling, the Q8 will adopt the new Q line’s octagonal grilles with thick vertical strakes , giving the car a bold and distinctive front end. The rear will feature a light stretching across the full width of the car, as well as specially designed front lights that are split in two, with hidden lighting below the air intakes. Styling for Audi’s updated range will be sleeker and edgier.

The Q8 will receive all of Audi’s ground-breaking new technology and autonomous driving facilities. There will be a range of engine choices, including the recently developed electric turbocharged engines, and full hybrid options will be available.

The Q8 is designed to compete with other luxury SUV’s in the market, however it will have a sportier edge. No pricing or availability details have been released by Audi yet, however pricing is expected to be similar to its rival, the Porsche Cayenne.
