Beautiful 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO

This stunning Ferrari is the second 250 GTO ever made. Only 39 of the 1960’s racers were ever produced and this one is currently up for sale in the UK.

The last Ferrari 250 GTO that sold at auction in 2012 went for a record breaking £30.5 million. This blue example, chassis number 3387, is being currently on offer at the Ferrari specialist Talalcrest and is expected to break the old £30.5mm record.

It is the second 250 GTO ever produced in 1962 and was first registered to New York. The beautiful example is in great condition and has passed hands a few times. The car has a very successful motorsport career, having featured in races worldwide. It finished first in its class in the 1962 Sebring 24 Hours race and second overall.

The car was repainted red for the majority of racing career and beyond, however was restored to its factory livery in 1997. The interior colour scheme matches the exterior, with two-tone blue seats and dark quilted upholstery.

The car is a great investment and is available from Talalcrest with no price specified, however the classic Ferrari is expected to go for around £30-35 million.
