Bentley’s Black Edition Continental GT Speed

Bentley has released the new tweaked Continental GT Speed, now making it the marques fastest production car and a Black Edition with striking alternative styling.

The Continental GT Speed is faster than ever after Bentley recalibrated the engines boost capacity. The GT Speed’s 6-litre twin-turbo W12 has been tweaked to produce an increased 633bhp and 620lb ft of torque from 2000-5000rpm. Performance for the new Bentley now sits at 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and is capable of 206mph flat out.

The Black Edition has the same engine and performance however offers buyers a distinctive visual package with high levels of customisation internally and externally. The Black Edition allows customers to select their own body colour which contrasts with the high-gloss black finish across certain elements, including the window surrounds and headlamp bezels. There is a choice of four colour accents that add to the effect; Hallmark, Beluga, St. James’ Red and Cyber yellow which are applied externally to the mirrors, side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser.

Internally the colour-contrast theme is continued with highlights available for the leather trim and contrasting stitching, dashboard, gear shifter and door elements. These are offered in 4 shades; Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red and Cyber yellow. Carbonfibre trim features across the centre and roof consoles as well as the facia.

The Bentley Continental GT speed and the Black Edition are on sale now and deliveries are expected at the start of summer. Prices have not been confirmed but will range from £168,000 upwards
