Bentley’s one-off Peter Blake Continental GT

The infamous British pop artist, Peter Blake, has collaborated with Bentley to create a unique pop art styled Continental GT. The luxury ‘Art car’ will be auctioned at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Sir Peter Blake is well-known for his iconic pop art, including the Beatles’ Sgt pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.  His most recent project has been working with Bentley’s bespoke Mulliner division to create a striking supercar to raise money for charity.

The colourful design has been painted onto a Bentley Continental V8 S Convertible, worth over £160,000, capable of 191mph. The design itself is bold and bright, featuring two-tone blue and British Racing Green bodywork. This is contrasted with a yellow bonnet and Fuchsia Pink grille surround. A large red heart motif takes centre stage on the bonnet, in line with the nature of the charity.

The quirky design continues internally, each of the four seats is finished in a different colour of premium leather; Cumbrian Green, Imperial Blue, Newmarket Tan and Hotspur and the gearlever is Fuchsia pink.  All of the headrests have Peter Blake’s signature embroidered into them and Bentley has also mounted his signature on the fascia panel.

The Art car has been specifically designed to be auctioned at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 24th June. All the money raised from the Bonhams sale will be donated to Care2Save Charitable Trust which cares for terminally ill Patients all over the world.
