The Bentley X Bamford Mulsanne Speed

Bentley’s Mulliner customisation division has collaborated with George Bamford, world famous for his luxurious personalisation of fine watches.

George Bamford of the Bamford Watch Department (BWD) specialises in the modification of the world’s finest watches, including Rolex and Cartier. BWD adds colour, flair or whatever the individual buyer might want. His watches are beautifully finessed and unique.

The new Bentley and Bamford collaboration combines both their creative customisation design abilities to produce a stunning and original Mulsanne Speed. Bamford’s Edition takes inspiration from BWD’s most renowned colour scheme all-black with aqua blue highlights.

The exterior of the Mulsanne is finished in Beluga glossy black paint and the stainless steel grille and Bentley badges darkened using physical vapour disposition, giving them an almost black look. The interior detailing has been finished using the same method, and the especially designed wheels are finished in black.

The interior has Aqua blue highlights; blue is hidden in the lining of the cabin including the glovebox, iPod drawer and armrest. The upholstery is a mix of black leather and Anthracite cloth, finished with bright blue contrasting stitching. The Bamford X Bentley has a uniquely designed analogue dashboard clock as well as a carbonfibre watch holder fitted in the car.

The Mulsanne Speed runs on the same 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 530bhp and is capable of 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 190mph.

The collaboration illustrates the extensive customisation available for anyone from Bentley Mulliner, who can be contacted directly for commissions.  The Bentley Mulsanne Speed costs £252,000 without personalisation.
