BMW announce 6 Series kit updates

BMW has added a range of styling and equipment upgrades to its 6 Series Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe.

The optional extras are intended to to give the 6 Series a boost in 2017, with a host of new colours, wheels and interior design features for the luxury coupe, four-door and convertible models.  The stand out option is the new Sonic Speed Blue metallic paint scheme, with the choice of 20-inch ‘M-Light’ alloy wheels, finished in a bi-colour, double-spoke design.

Previously only available for the M6, any 6 Series specced with the M-Sports styling package can now be now be finished with carbon-fibre trim for the dashboard and doors.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the original 6 Series, which went out of production in 1989.  Its successor didn’t appear until 2003, and the model is now on its third generation with only minor tweaks since the current car launched in 2011.
