Exquisite Ferrari 335 S Spider selling for €28-32 million

This beautiful, and extremely rare, 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti racer is to be auctioned at the Artcurial Paris sale on the 5th February.

A dream car for any motor enthusiast, this particular example was previously owned by renowned French Ferrari collector, Pierre Bardinon, who had over 70 historic Ferraris in his collection.

Chassis number 0674, was raced by the likes of Mike Hawthorn and Sir Stirling Moss, who drove the car to victory in the 1958 Cuban GP, before it passed to Bardinon in 1970.

Initially powered by a 3.8-litre Tipo 140 V12, this historic classic was later uprated to displace 4.1 litres and output close to 400bhp.

A price of €28-32 million is expected for this truly exceptional Ferrari racer, which could break the current world record of €31.8 million set last year for another classic Ferrari.
