Eye-catching Countach set for Race Retro sale

This very distinctive 1981 Lamborghini Countach LP400S is one of the early highlights of Silverstone Auction’s upcoming Race Retro sale (26-28thFebruary).

The rare and iconic supercar is one of only seven right-hand drive models built to the LP400S specification, and has just 38,221 miles on the clock.

First owned by Tim Dutton, of Dutton Sports Cars, the car originally featured a gold paint scheme.  Today the Countach is finished in Pearl Yellow, with oatmeal leather seats and a contrasting black suede dash top.

The car is expected to significantly exceed its estimate of £200,000-£250,000, in line with other LP400S sold recently.
