It is the 9th example of the 32 created Ferrari 250 LM. According to Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, this particular model was completed by the factory on 1964 and 6 weeks later, it was sold to Switzerland’s most storied racing team, Scuderia Filipinetti and was raced by Ludovico Scarfiotti and Nino Vaccarella.

With an impressive competition record, unbroken history of ownership, an original chassis and engine, as certified by Ferrari Classiche, the Ferrari 250 LM attracted all of the right kind of attention in the Arizona Sale.

The model was the last Ferrari to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans overall and was sold with a meticulously detailed Massini report that documents ownership from new, an original owner’s manual with a leather pouch.
