‘Ferrari Performance Collection’ to be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s

13 Ferraris from a single collector, dubbed the ‘Ferrari Performance Collection’, will go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s Monteray auction for an estimated combined total of £14 million.

The collection ranges from a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, through to modern classics such as a 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO. The 250 GT SWB Berlinetta won a platinum award at Cavallino in 2016 and is the 110th of the 165 built, estimated to fetch between $8.5m-$10m.

The exquisite collection further features a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta by Scagliette, a rare Dino 206 GT – one of only 152 alloy-bodied cars built, a ‘Vetrosina’ 308 GTB and a 1989 328 GTS.

The modern enthusiast is also catered for with a 430 Scuderia, 16M Scuderia Spider, 360 Challenge Stradale, 599 GTO and of course, a Ferrari F40, complete with original invoice and tools, estimated at a cool $1.3m-$1.5m.

The collection will be sold in individual lots at Pebble Beach, California on the 18th and 19th August 2017.
