Final spec released for extreme Lotus 3-Eleven

Lotus has released final spec details for its limited run 3-Eleven, with the road version set to be the fastest road car ever produced by the company.

Powered by a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine, the race version weighs in at 890kg, produces 460bhp and sprints from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180mph.  The 925kg road car isn’t far behind, delivering 410bhp, 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 174mph.

The 3 Eleven race car features a host of extras, some of which can be added to the road car at additional cost, including Ohlins dampers, AP Racing brakes, limited slip differential, TFT instrument panel, carbon fibre driver’s seat, FIA-spec roll cage and a removable steering wheel.

Only 311 units will be produced, with first deliveries in March 2016. The race car is priced at £116,500, while the road version costs £82,500.
