Hennessey’s new 808bhp Ford Mustang

The world’s best-known tuner, Hennessey, has pulled out all the stops for their new version of a Ford Mustang. The new HPE800 is based on a GT350 and is on sale now.

Hennessey are famous for their on-going battles with Bugatti to beat the world’s top-speed record. They have recently produced their own version of a Ford Shelby GT350, massively improving power and speed stats.

The supercharged HPE800 runs on a 5.2-litre V8 engine with Dyno tuning and features premium upgrades including new fuelling and ECU systems, a carbonfibre high-flow induction system, 11.0:1 compression aluminium pistons and steel connecting rods.

The Hennessey Mustang has an increased power output of 808bhp and 657lb ft of torque, and is now capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds. The car is available in convertible or hard top and both manual and automatic transmissions are on offer.

Ford’s original styling remains almost intact with a few Hennessey additions, such as Hennessey and HPE800 badging, interior embroidered logos, branded floor mats and numbered engine and dashboard plaques. The Shelby stripes and body kit are standard, however for an added premium Hennessey can make a wide-range of alternations to personalise the car or give it a more aggressive look.

Only 50 units of Hennessey’s Mustang will be produced and the car comes with a 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty.
