Here Comes the Huracán

The Lamborghini Gallardo can step aside as the Huracán takes over. Huracán translates from Spanish to “Storm” and is also the name of the famous Alicante fighting bull in 1879. The Huracán comprises a V10 engine producing more than 600bhp and with a top speed of over 200mph. The blend of aluminum and carbonfibre enables the Huracán to be a solid, high precision race car. The weight has increased from the Gallardo to 1422kg, yet the Huracán still achieves 0-62mph in an incredible 3.2 seconds and completes 0-124mph in just 9.9 seconds. The Huracán offers considerably more power and performance, combined with a high quality interior and lower fuel and CO2 consumption. The interior hosts a variety of multimedia options, one of which being a 12.3 inch TFT instrument display. The Huracán offers superior luxury with a full suite of customisation options. The Huracán is expected to make its public debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show, before going on sale in autumn. The price is anticipated to be greater than the Gallardo at £158,976, with an array of variants to be designed in the coming years.
