Introducing the 2016 Maserati Quattroporte

Maserati’s new GranLusso and GranSport from the Quattroporte range have been given a facelift, including minor styling revisions, technology updates and engine tweaks.

The exterior design of the new Quattroporte mirrors elements from the Levante SUV, the bumpers have been restyled and the new angular front grille features chrome slats. Other additions include larger air vents and an electrically adjustable air splitter. The aerodynamic drag has been decreased by 10%.

The cabin also receives updates and new in-car technology. The centre console has been de-cluttered using only one rotary dial and a new 8.4 inch touchscreen has been added. The new infotainment system is compatible with smartphones, using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2016 models receive a 360 degree camera, electric parking brake, and adaptive cruise control with lane departure warning, collision warning and an emergency brake system.

The more luxurious GranLusso offers silk upholstery throughout the cabin, sunblinds and visors, heated seats and 20-inch Mercurio alloys. The GranSport trim receives a sports steering wheel, sport seats and 21-inch alloys.

The Quattroporte range is offered in a choice of 3 engines; a V6 diesel, a V6 petrol or the range-topping V8 petrol with 523bhp and a top speed of 193mph. All engines come standard with an 8 speed automatic gearbox.

The 2016 Quattroporte is on sale now, with GranLusso and GranSport pricing starting from £78,910.
