Kahn’s one-off London Edition Defender

Kahn Design, famous for bespoke models such as the Vengeance DB9 and the Flying Huntsman, has created the ‘Ultimate Defender’ commissioned by the organisers of the London Motor Show.

The modified Land Rover Defender has been given a contemporary feel while celebrating the history of the last defender, receiving a host of styling and technological updates.

The London Motor show Edition Defender 90’s exterior updates include a new grille, hood vents and new 20 inch alloy wheels. Wider wings, a new front bumper and body-coloured arch have been added to the body kit.

Internally, the cabin has been trimmed in a unique striped fabric to match the new sports seats. Other aesthetic improvements include a new leather-trimmed steering wheel, aluminium pedals, a billet as well as a new bespoke clock.

The Defender has also been fitted with a modern infotainment system and a new sat-nav with reversing camera. Kahn has added a new exhaust system and four-speed automatic gearbox. The engine can be chosen by the one lucky buyer, either the standard 2.2-litre diesel engine or a beefed up 6.2-litre V8. The Power and Torque for the Defender has been boosted by 10%.

Kahn Design’s bespoke London Motor Show Defender 90 is limited to only one model with a £65,000 price tag. The limited-edition Defender can be viewed in the Chelsea boutique and purchased directly through Kahn Design.
