Lamborghini demonstrates off-road capabilities of new SUV

Lamborghini has demonstrated the off-road capabilities of its upcoming 600bhp SUV in a new promotional video. According to Lamborghini the Urus will be the worlds-first ‘Super SUV’.

The SUV will feature a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, which will generate a colossal 600bhp. The new video demonstrates the off-road features of the Urus, as it can be seen throwing itself around large sand dunes. Three new modes make an appearance on the SUV, Sabbia, Terra and Neve, which translate to sand, land and snow respectively. Existing Lamborghini customers won’t be disappointed as three existing Lamborghini modes also remain, Strada, Sport and Corsa.

The Urus will use the same basic platform from the Porsche Cayenne, however the Urus will differentiate itself by adding a lairy V8 engine and Lamborghini’s four-wheel drive steering that can be found in the Aventador S.

The Lamborghini Urus is due to be unveiled on the 4th December and is expected to have an asking price of around the £180k mark.
