Last of the Legends

Bugatti have revealed their sixth and final instalment of the Bugatti Legends series with the Ettore Bugatti. The Ettore will debut later this month at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and will be presented together with the other five Bugatti Legend models. Only three Ettore models will be produced and each will be priced at £1.8 million.

To differentiate from the other Legend models, the Ettore has taken its design inspiration from the 1932 Type 41 Royale. For the front, Bugatti have finished the bonnet, wing mirrors and door handles in hand-polished aluminium. Then, for the rear, a dark blue exposed carbon finish has been used. This dark blue carbon can also be found on the door trims and centre box cover.

For added exclusivity, Bugatti have incorporated alloy wheels with diamond-cut rims which match the exterior finish in colour. The founder of the company’s signature has been engraved and painted into the oil cap.

The interior combines various leathers and there is a tanning process in place for the leather on the dash, centre console and gear level which takes approximately six months.

Similarly to the other Legend models, the Ettore is powered by a 1,184bhp 8.0-litre W16 engine producing 1,500Nm of torque. The Ettore can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.6 seconds and has a top speed limited to 254mph.
