Lotus release Evora 400 Carbonfibre Pack

Lotus is now offering the Evora 400 with a host of new weight-saving options. The Carbon Pack and light weight components reduce the car’s weight by 42kg.

The carbonfibre pack is intended to give the Evora 400 more responsive driving. The Pack takes elements from the Evora 410 Sport and all parts are handmade.

The Carbon Pack consists of a new front splitter, rear wing centre, rear diffuser finisher, roof panel and front access panel. The air-conditioning system and rear seats can be removed at no extra cost for those wanting to save even more weight. The cabin has been upgraded with lightweight materials, including the cup holder and tray.

New weight-saving options also include a titanium exhaust, saving 10kg, which costs an extra £5,550. There is also a lithium ion battery available for an additional £1,350, which reduces the car’s weight by another 10kg.

The Evora 400 runs on a supercharged 395bhp 3.5-litre V6 engine, sprinting from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds. The Carbon pack will increase the car’s performance and reduce the 0-62mph time. The pack is available now from Lotus.
