Lotus’s one-off 007 inspired Evora 410

Lotus has revealed a special edition Evora Sport 410 it pays tribute to the iconic on screen Esprit S1 Lotus as part of the 40th anniversary of the 1977 Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me.

The Esprit S1 featured in the James Bond film with Roger Moore. The white Esprit starred in one of the series most memorable scenes when it becomes part submarine. The iconic and retro styling of S1 has been brought to a new model in tribute developed by Lotus’ bespoke customisation department called Lotus Exclusive.

The car runs on a 3.5-litre V6 engine supercharged to produce 410bhp and capable of 0-62mph in 4 seconds. The 007 homage has a top speed of 190mph.

The special edition is finished in white paint and features a contrasting black coach line. There is black bumpers, a bespoke B-pillar badge like the original Esprit’s and a carbon-fibre one-piece tailgate.

The interior mirror’s the retro appeal of the on screen car, it features lotus heritage tartan trimmed panels added to the seats and door panels. The interior is finished with red stitching, black Alcantara and a wooden gear stick.

The Tribute Evora illustrates Lotus’s bespoke personalisation services and capabilities. The Special Edition will make for a collectors dream. No pricing and sale information have been released however expect a hefty premium over the Evora Sport 410’s normal £82,000 starting price.
