The luxury Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet

Mercedes-Maybach has revealed a stunning limited edition SUV.  The Maybach off-road convertible G650 Landaulet has an AMG V12.

The new luxury SUV is the ultimate range-topping G Class Wagon. It uses the G-Class base however is wider and beefier. The new AMG-Maybach is a soft-top convertible with four seats only.

The retro Landaulet body allows the front seats to sit under a hard-top roof, while the extremely spacious back seats are under an electrically folding canvas roof. The front and rear can also be separated at the touch of a button by a glass partition which can then be made tinted for privacy.

The cabin is by far the most luxurious ever fitted to a G Wagon. The front seats full recline and feature a calf rest as well as cooling and heated message options. The rear passengers both receive a 10-inch infotainment display and media playback system. There is also heating and cooling upholders and fold-out trays. The interior is finished in a diamond stitched trim with tone-tone leather and chrome plating.

Under the bonnet is a massive AMG developed 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12, producing 621bhp and 737lb ft of torque.  The Maybach comes with four-wheel drive and has good ground clearance to make it adaptable to different terrains. It has good off-road abilities with 450mm clearance, locking differentials and 22-inch wheels.

Only 99 units will be produced. The amazing Maybach G650 will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Pricing is yet to be revealed, however each one should fetch more than £450,000.
