Mansory reveal modified 478bhp G500

Bespoke German tuning company, Mansory, has unveiled its latest creation, based on the Mercedes G-Class 4×4² G500.

Mansory is famous for its outlandish designs and ability to upgrade any vehicle. Last year’s highly anticipated Mercedes G500, has been given a host of styling tweaks and technical modifications.

The original Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 powertrain has been boosted with a bespoke ‘Powerbox’ and a new sports exhaust system, uprating the engines output to 478bhp and 710Nm of torque.

The exterior of Mansory’s G500 receives an abundance of carbonfibre, a new spoiler with larger air intakes and a snazzy grille. Carbonfibre runs along the length of the new roof and rear of the car. Body parts are also trimmed in carbonfibre, including the black mirror houses, door handles and wheel arches. There are also additional LED running lights and unique headlight surrounds, adding to the cars distinctive look.

Internally, the cabin has been finished with carbonfibre, featured in the new dashboard and door trims. The Sport steering wheel and handbrake have been given carbonfibre chequered inserts to finish the look. The upholstery has been redesigned with a Mansory-spin, bright blue stitching now contrasts with black quilted leather, to mirror the exterior. The Mansory logo has been embroidered into the seats and the Mercedes badge replaced with the large Mansory ‘M’.

Pricing and availability is yet to be released, however the original G500 costs around €226,100 and Mansory’s prestigious clients can expect to pay well above this for the bespoke design.
