Maserati Ghibli GranLusso and GranSport unveiled

Maserati has unveiled its new Ghibli GranLusso and GranSport variants at the 2017 Chengdu Motor Show.

The attractive saloon models a subtle updated look, which sees a new front fascia, matrix LED headlights and a redesigned rear bumper. As well as these aerodynamic tweaks (according to Maserati), the new Ghibli gets updated technology packs, including an ADAS package (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which aims to keep up with its German rivals to support autonomous functionality. The latest models are updated versions of the Ghibli, which was first debuted in 2014.

The new models will use a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo which gains 20 more horsepower over its predecessor, resulting in a total of 430bhp, 580Nm of torque and a 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds. Unsurprisingly the GranLusso model is designed around luxury and refinement and the GranSport focuses on performance.
