Meet the most powerful Bentley ever produced…

With 700bhp and a 0-60mph time of 3.4sec, the new Continental Supersports is the fastest road car yet from Bentley.

Boasting a 6.0-litre, twin turbo W12 engine, the Supersports coupe can reach 209mph (205mph for the convertible) and is equipped with the world’s largest carbon ceramic brake discs to bring the 2.3-tonne luxury car to a halt.

Available in coupe or convertible form, Bentley claim the Supersports is the world’s fastest four-seat car and drop-top. The new Continental features lower, stiffer suspension, 21 inch forged alloy wheels (shaving 20kg off the weight) and the option to upgrade to a titanium exhaust system.

Externally, there are new front and rear bumpers, a liberal use of carbon fibre and a rear spoiler for the coupe model. Internal additions include tri-colour diamond-quilted Alcantara upholstery and chequered Supersports carbon fibre dashboard panels.

The sporty new Continental goes on sale this spring, with the coupe priced at £212,500 and the convertible listed at £233,800.
