Mercedes-AMG GT S gets the Mansory treatment

Mansory, famous for its lavish redesigns of prestige and supercar marques, has created a new one-off restyling of the Mercedes-AMG GT S.

The unique car was commissioned by ‘Bandar’, a special client, after seeing a similar design by the company at the Geneva Motor Show.  The redesign has been tastefully adapted to the client’s specifications and features new bodywork and engine tweaks.

The modified Mercedes-AMG GT S now has a very prominent rear wing with an integrated diffuser. The new wing adds significant downforce, improving the car’s handling and cornering at high speeds.

The bodywork has been altered, making the car wider, and carbonfibre parts have been painted in ruby red to contrast the dark grey exterior. The suspension has been lowered and large seven-spoke wheels have been added (9.5 x 21 inch at the front and 10.5 x 21 inch at the rear).

The interior has been restyled, and features upgraded aluminium pedals, illuminated door sills and a sports steering wheel with a carbonfibre insert. The seats have been re-trimmed in a coordinated grey and red colour scheme matching the exterior, and have been embroidered with Mansory logos.

The engine mapping has been tweaked, and the car receives larger turbochargers and a stainless steel sports exhaust system, raising the power output to 720bhp. The V8 twin-turbo is now capable of 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and 205mph flat out.

Mansory has not released the price of this one-off creation yet. Bespoke modification enquiries can be made directly with the company.
