Morgan’s 80th Anniversary 4/4 Special Edition

First launched back in 1936, Morgan is celebrating its 80thanniversary with a limited edition 4/4 roadster.

The 4/4 80th will be limited to just 80 units, each hand-built and featuring bespoke trims and finishes that conjure the beauty of those early classics.

The new Morgan will be fitted with classic-look tyres and brass centre locking wheels, as well as a mohair roof, brass grille and quad bonnet straps. There are three colour schemes; dark red, Saxe blue or a two-tone dark and almond green. A wide range of personalisation options and customised spec are also available.

The Special Edition comes with either left-hand or right-hand drive. It is powered by a 1.6-litre Ford Sigma engine, with a new improved side-exit exhaust system, delivering over 110bhp and 97lb ft of torque. Performance is quoted at an estimated 0-62mph time of 8.0 seconds with a top speed of 115mph.

The 4/4 80th will be priced around £40,000.
