MP Praises Oracle Finance As Business Expands

Oracle Finance’s staff expansion has been welcomed by Harrogate & Knaresborough MP Andrew Jones.

Mr Jones wrote to the company – the country’s leading provider of finance to the luxury car market – after it boosted its sales force by 50 per cent to cope with a continued surge in business.

In his letter, the Conservative MP said he was “impressed” with the company’s expansion, adding “I am pleased to read that your business is performing so well and with your expanded workforce the future looks very positive.

“Unemployment is low in this constituency – our area has seen the joint largest annual fall in unemployment in the United Kingdom. That fall is driven by companies like yours.”

Oracle Finance was founded in 2006 by Peter Brook and Andy King and has grown significantly in recent years. It now employs a work force of nearly 40 and has in excess of 40,000 clients on its books. These range from sole traders and captains of industry to Premier League footballers and retirees.

Annually, Oracle Finance underwrites some £250 million of funding for supercars, which has seen the company secure its place as the country’s leading provider of finance to the luxury car market.

Oracle Finance Managing Director, Peter Brook, said: “We were delighted to receive the letter from Mr Jones, and it’s pleasing that he takes an interest in businesses within his constituency.

“We’ve had a fantastic year with new records set in both Q2 and Q3, and a 20 per cent rise in new business this year.”

Mr Brook added: “The luxury vehicle market has remained strong throughout the recession and is currently in a phase of growth.

“We’re very much looking forward to the year ahead, which at present looks very promising.”
