The new Porsche Panamera Executive

Porsche has added new Panamera models to the range, including the Executive variant and a new entry-level V6. The new Porsche models will make their debut next week at the LA Auto Show.

The Porsche Panamera Executive comes standard with four-wheel drive and is available with a choice of four engines. The executive model is longer and receives upgraded trim specifications. The new model has a long wheelbase and is 150mm longer than the standard model. The executive has more space, rear leg room and equipment.

The new model gets a new panoramic roof, front and rear electrically adjustable heated seats, and a rear seat centre console. The rear seats are maximised for comfort and utility. The rear seats include two folding tables and smartphone connectivity. The rear console entertainment system has 2 removable tablet-inspired monitors attached to the back of the front seats.

The Executive comes standard with Porsche’s PASM system as well as adaptive air suspension and variable damper control. The Executive Turbo and 4S receive soft-close doors, ambient lighting and rear-wheel steering.

The new variant is available in a choice of 4 engines, the new 326bhp 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol, a 434bhp twin-turbo V6 4S and the range topping 542bhp 4.0-litre V8 Turbo. The Executive is also available in the E-hybrid engine, powered by a combination of Porsche’s twin-turbo V6 and an electric motor producing 456bhp. The new entry-level engine, a turbo petrol 3.0-litre V6 will also be available for the rest of the range.

Porsche will debut the models at the LA Auto Show and deliveries are expected in April 2017 for the UK. Pricing starts at £76,034 for the entry Panamera 4 Executive. The hybrid costs £84,838, £98,672 for the 4S and £122,480 for the Turbo.
