The new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

Porsche has added a new model to the Panamera line-up, based on a 2012 concept. The new 5 door Panamera offers speed and more space.

The Sport Turismo is a unique offering, combining the space benefits of a SUV with the sleek lines and performance of the standard Panamera.

The new model offers the Panamera’s first 2+1 seating arrangement, however it’s still available as a 4-seater. The redesigned back end offers a huge increase in boot space, totalling 520-litres. This increases to 1,390-litres when the electronically adjustable seats are lowered completely. The new space is accompanied by a luggage compartment management system, featuring a dividing net, lashing points and floor rails.

There is an adaptive 3-staged spoiler, adaptive air suspension and an all-wheel drive system. The interior features the usual modern, sleek Porsche design, including a touchscreen, high-tech infotainment system.

There is a choice 5 engines, ranging from the 330bhp V6 to the top of the range 550bhp turbo. The turbo is capabale of 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds with a flat out speed of 190mph. An E-hybrid version is available, however this offers less boot space due to the motor.

Pricing ranges from £73k to £117k, depending on engine specification. The new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will be unveiled at this month’s Geneva Motor Show.
