New Toyota Supra Details Leaked

Details have emerged of the long awaited, new Toyota Supra.

Despite going off sale in 2002 the hugely popular Supra is set to make its comeback in 2018. The new Supra is due to be created in conjunction with the upcoming BMW Z4 and will share a front engine, rear-wheel drive platform.

The new Supra is expected to feature three different engine options; two 2-litre turbo charged straight-six engines and a 3-litre turbocharged straight-six, potentially generating up to 350 bhp. Early reports suggest the Supra will only feature an automatic gearbox, with no plans in the works for a manual option, despite its BMW counterpart offering one.

Even with the camo wrap, the striking profile of the Supra can be clearly seen and bears striking similarities to the Toyota FT-1, sporting a long and low design coupled with a ducktail spoiler.

The long awaited new Toyota Supra is due to arrive in 2018.
