New TVR is Sold Out For 2017 Before Any Images Revealed!

The British car manufacturer TVR revealed that it has now taken more than 250 deposits for its new sports car, making the first production run of the new car in 2017 a sell-out.

Even though no official pictures or details of the new car have been revealed yet, the company started taking deposits after announcing its return in June this year, following high public demand.

Returning after nearly 10 years, the new TVR has been designed by engineering guru Gordon Murray and will be available in four model variants, two hard-tops and two roadsters.

The new car will be powered by a unique V8 engine, tuned by Cosworth, producing 450bhp-plus in a 1100kg structure.  The car will reach 0-60mph in less than four seconds, with a top speed of over 185mph.

TVR’s chairman, Les Edgar said that more details will be revealed soon and promised to all of their customers, “who have shown faith, that the new car will exceed expectations in every way.”

A starting price of around £60,000 is expected for the new unnamed TVR, and any orders placed now will not be delivered until 2018.
