Novitec Rosso’s 762bhp Ferrari 488 Spider

Novitec Rosso has given the Ferrari 488 Spider its special tuning treatment. NR has ramped up the performance and given the car bespoke styling upgrades.

The car runs on the same 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 Ferrari engine, however NR has modified the ECU. They have developed two bespoke, driver-controlled modules that remap the ECU during the injection and ignition phases to optimise performance. NR’s model delivers an impressive 762bhp and 658lb ft of torque and now sprints from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 213mph.

NR’s Spider receives a new exhaust system featuring electronic sound management, and a lighter exhaust composed of Inconel is also available for an added premium. The suspension has been tweaked to allow the front end of the car to be raised by 40mm at the push of a button.

NR has given the 488 a new carbonfibre aero pack, including a new spoiler lip, side flaps, air intake surround and rocker panels. The rear spoiler lip, mirrors and light surrounds are made of carbonfibre and there is an optional large carbon rear wing. The wheels have been upgraded to 21-inch, however customised wheels are available in 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear.

The interior features the same advanced technology and connectivity. The cabin has been upgraded to leather and Alcantara trim as standard, however NR will customise the cabin in any material, colour or styling the buyer wishes.

Pricing is yet to be released for the new Novitec Rosso 488 Spider.
