Porsche 911 GT2 to feature at RM Sotheby’s London auction
The annual RM Sotheby’s London auction is due to commence at Battersea Evolution today, with 96 lots ready to cross the auction block. Expected at the auction is a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, estimated at £1.2 million and a 2003 Ferrari Enzo estimated at a cool £2 million.
One of the main highlights of the event will be a 1996 Porsche 911 GT2, which despite being nearly 20 years old, still retains its original parts. This 911 is highly desirable, with its aggressive exterior styling and the fact that only 190 were ever built. Bidding for this 911 will start at £725,000.
Rod Stewart’s 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S will also go under the hammer. Having undergone a €400,000 restoration, it’s considered to be one of the best Miura S’s on the road and is therefore expected to fetch between £1.2 and £1.4 million.
