Porsche 911 GT3 RS sets sub-seven-minute Nurburgring time
The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS has set a time of 6:56.4 at the famous Nurburgring, becoming the third road-going Porsche production car to post a lap time under 8 minutes at the ring.
The new GT3 RS uses a naturally aspirated 4-litre flat-six that produces 513bhp and 346lb ft of torque, which will see a 0-62mph time of 3.2s and a top speed of 196mph. The impressive time was only 9.5 seconds slower than its turbocharged brothers’ time of 6:47.3.
The GT3 RS mixes the naturally aspirated performance of the Porsche GT3, with the aerodynamic styling of the GT2 RS, and is priced from £141,346.
