The eagerly anticipated RM Sotheby’s South Californian auction will be held at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on December 8th and the auction is set to deliver some impressive lots.

Arguably one of the main stars will be the 1976 Porsche 935 Group 5 Turbo by Kremer Racing. This rare lot features an ‘Ice Green’ metallic exterior, with matching leather interior. Direct from the factory the Porsche was fitted with every option going, including air conditioning and a Blaupunkt radio. The car was then handed to Kremer Racing who fitted the 935K package, which included modified bodywork, a quad-tipped exhaust and power-adjustable bucket seats. The changes weren’t just skin deep, they also carried out significant modifications to the 3.0-litre turbo flat-six to increase the power on offer. This Porsche has only 41,000 miles on the clock and will likely go for a price reflecting that.

As well as the 935, other impressive lots include a one-off 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Shooting Brake, a 1956 Ferrari 290 MM and a stunning Lamborghini Miura.
