Porsche Classic teases ‘Project Gold’ 911 Turbo

Porsche have released a series of videos which uncover various details about the upcoming restored 993 911 Turbo, called ‘Project Gold’. Commemorating Porsche’s 70th birthday celebrations, the restored model is being unveiled piece by piece in the run up to its big reveal at Pebble Beach’s Monterey Car Week.

The series of videos show a refurbished 911 undergoing various elements of meticulous attention to detail. The three released videos show the ‘Project Gold’ will reflect the black and gold colour scheme, although the videos only show the laser etched wheels and interior leather and stitching reflecting that colour scheme as of yet.

It is unclear whether the restored model will include any upgraded technical components, or if it’s a customer’s commission or a Porsche museum model. Porsche will reveal a detail a week in the run up to its public debut at Pebble Beach’s Monterey Car Week on the 24th August.
