Sporty 2-door Range Rover due to be unveiled at Geneva Motor Show

Land Rover has confirmed their Special Vehicle Operations division are currently developing a two-door Range Rover that pays homage to the original two-door Range Rover from 1970. Just 999 examples of the two-door SV Coupe will be created, with an unconfirmed asking price north of £200,000.

Few details have been released, although we have been teased with the above interior shot which shows four individual armchairs dressed in luxurious quilted leather, teak veneers and a full-length centre console. Expect extensive opportunities for personalisation, as well as “up-to-the-minute” tech throughout.

Land Rover’s chief design officer, Gerry McGovern, explained:  ‘The Range Rover SV Coupe is a highly compelling design with peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication, from its breathtaking exterior proportions to its sumptuous, beautifully appointed interior. This is a vehicle that will resonate on an emotional level.’

The SV Coupe will be fully unveiled at the Geneva motor show on the 6th March 2018.
