Rare 1968 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider

This extremely rare 1968 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider is up for auction by RM Sotheby’s on May 14th in Monaco.

The car in question is one of only 10 ever built as a limited edition convertible, in a collaboration between Enzo Ferrari and Luigi Chinetti. This beautiful classic is the last off the line and the 3rd last 275 ever sold. The 10 limited editions were named NART, in homage to Chinetti after his team, the North American Racing Team.

It was delivered new to Spain where it remained for 14 years and over the years passed hands to different European collectors, it has been in the UK since the early 2000s. The Ferrari has been kept in excellent condition and was repainted once from Grigio Scuro to the dark red seen today. The Spider has been Ferrari Classiche-certified with all the matching numbers and still runs the same 300bhp V12 engine.

RM Sotheby’s, expect the 1968 Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider will sell for upwards of £15 million on May 14th.
