Rare 248mph Saleen S7 TT heads to auction

RM Sotheby’s has announced that this rare and incredibly fast Saleen S7 TT will feature in the July Motor City sale.

The Saleen S7 TT is one of the fastest cars in the world; this ‘Lipstick Red’ example was the last of the 13 ever built. The car heading to auction is 10 years old, however remains in mint condition and was last serviced in May 2016. The 2006 car has a low mileage with only 300 miles on the clock, has had two previous owners and comes with the original luggage set and window sticker.

The Saleen S7 TT runs on a 7.0-litre aluminium V8 with two Garrett turbochargers. The mid-mounted supercar drives power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. The car outputs an impressive 750bhp and is capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds reaching a top speed of 248mph.

It is expected to sell for between $650,000-750,000 (£520k) at RM Sotheby’s auction on the 30th July in Michigan.
