Rare Lexus LFA Nurburgring Pack Heading for Auction

A low mileage, Lexus LFA Nurburgring Pack is heading for auction in January 2018. This exquisite exotic is being sold at the Scottsdale Auction by Gooding & Company and is one of only 50 Nurburgring Pack’s ever built. Further adding to the rarity is that this example has only 60 miles on the clock, meaning it could possibly be the last delivery mileage LFA in existence.

Number 498 of the 500 LFA’s that were ever built, this LFA sports the Nurburgring Pack which sees increased power to a total of 562bhp, tweaked aero designs, a fixed rear wing and a recalibrated gearbox to quicken up the gearshifts. This pack results in an LFA that lapped the Nurburgring 8 seconds ahead of its non-specced sibling, posting a blisteringly quick time of 7 minutes 14 seconds.

The LFA boasts an earth-shakingly loud 4.8-litre V10 engine, a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 202mph.

The uniqueness of this LFA, coupled with the 60 miles on the clock of this 2012 supercar, means this rare edition is estimated to sell for between $900,000 and $1,200,000. Whilst expensive, given the low volumes produced, could this be a future rare classic in the making?
