Rimac to unveil Concept-One electric hypercar at Geneva

Croatian manufacturer, Rimac will showcase its 1073bhp Concept-One at the Geneva Motor Show.

The all-electric hypercar features four oil-cooled electric motors mounted on each corner, Rimac claiming an astonishing combined torque output of 1,600Nm.  With 1,073bhp, this translates into 0-62mph in 2.6 seconds, 0-124mph in 6.2 seconds and an incredible top speed of 221mph.

The Concept-One’s advanced torque-vectoring system distributes power to each individual wheel, channelled through two single-speed gearboxes at the front and a pair of two-speed dual-clutch gearboxes at the rear.  Carbon-ceramic brakes keep the car under control.

Eight examples have been built so far, with six sold at a price of £676,000.
