The 200mph Bentley Flying Spur W12 S

Bentley has given the Flying Spur Saloon the ‘S’ treatment, producing their first Saloon capable of over 200mph.

The new Flying Spur W12 S model receives engine tweaks to push performance to 202mph. The new model runs on a tuned version of Bentley’s 6-litre W12 engine, which now produces a massive 626bhp and 605lb ft of torque. The four-door luxury saloon now hits 62mph in 4.5 seconds and has a speed of 202mph flat out.

The model S features bespoke suspension settings and a recalibrated damper and control set-up, developed to handle the additional power. The Spur S is four-wheel drive with a 60:40 front-rear torque split. The S comes with a choice of new gloss black wheels, in either 21-inch 7 spoke or 5 Spoke designs. Carbon-ceramic brakes are available for an added premium.

The new S model has been given bespoke styling updates, including new gloss black body work and trim across the exterior. The light surroundings and grille have been given a dark ‘Beluga’ tint. The cabin includes a new steering wheel and advanced technology, including wi-fi connectivity and a premium sound system. The interior is finished with quilted leather and satin carbonfibre trim, as well as embossed W12 S logos throughout. Bentley’s usual extensive range of optional extras and unique customisation is available.

The new model is on sale now, with first deliveries expected before the end of 2016. The regular Flying Spur W12 is priced at £154,900, however pricing is yet to be released for the faster model S.
