The fresh-faced Land Rover Discovery
Land Rover has released a teaser image of the new 2017 Discovery. The new fifth generation car aims to be stylish while remaining practical and versatile.
The preview shots of the new Discovery reveal the look for the new generation of the SUV. The Discovery now looks more modern and curved, similar to Range Rover’s Evoque and Sport models.
The car’s front end has been redesigned with new LED lights and grille. The 2017 Discovery will offer a full seven-seat layout, retaining practicality and space. The interior is expected to be updated and de-cluttered with touchscreen displays and advanced tech.
The new Discovery will be lighter and more efficient than the out-going model. It will feature a new monocoque structure composed of all-aluminium. The 5th generation should be offered in a new 2-litre ingenium diesel engine, as well as the larger 3-litre V6 found in Range Rovers, amongst a range of other options.
Full details and pricing will be revealed on the 28th September when the new Land Rover Discovery makes its official debut during the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
